New No. 1 Prospect in Seattle
We have a new No. 1 prospect.
This is the second of four in-season updates to the prospect rankings here at Baseball Things. This time, the changes are major, due to the start of the summer leagues in Arizona and the Dominican Republic, and the former No. 1 prospect playing in the majors right now.
Players’ overall future value (OFP, FV) dictates the rankings, so at times it doesn’t take much for the order to change. Sometimes movement takes months.
* Players currently in the majors do not qualify, even if they maintain rookie status (Alex Hoppe, for example).
